Project Challenge
How do you introduce a “foreign” cuisine to a new audience with limited resources? The challenge was to translate the value of diversity into a friendly, familiar, and appealing brand for the local market.
WOW Approach
Inspired by the philosophy of ubuntu, we based our approach on the values of community and solidarity. In collaboration with the Hakuna Matata team and through a co-creation process, we designed a colorful identity system with colors inspired by Senegal and dynamic typography and strong verbal messages.

We co-created the identity with the Hakuna Matata team itself, in a process that began with workshops and evolved into a meaningful relationship of trust and friendship.
